Do you use our electricity to power your mowers?

Our mowers operate on rechargeable batteries as opposed to tethering to an electrical outlet. We do require use of an external, electrical outlet to recharge an alternate battery while we are mowing. At current Manitoba Hydro rates of 7.672 cents per kW.h and our charger operating at 555 watts, we could charge our battery for an hour and consume less than 5 cents worth of electricity.

Will electric mowers do as good a job as gas powered mowers?

Our 56v EGO brand mowers are indeed as powerful as gas mowers in virtually all situations. That said, we will not mow overgrown lawns. We will remove up to 3.5 inches of growth in one session.
